BAKI  BOGAC

Baki Bogaç was born in 1951 at Larnaka.  He graduated from the Architecture Department, Istanbul Technical University. During this time he worked with sculptor Yavuz Görey and painter Şadan Beyaziş.  While working as an architect he also made time for his Art which he considered an important part of his life. He has taken part in many joint national and international joint exhibitions. His work can be found in various state and private collections. Below is a list of artistic activities he has taken part in:

1986-2001         Recipient of five National painting and sculpture prizes.
1988 & 1990     Took part in the III and IV “International Asia-Europe Art Bienal”.
1993                 Brush Strokes Across Cultures II & V Exhibition.
1995-1996         Taught sculpture at the Cyprus Art Association Children’s Club.
1996                 Personal Exhibition.  H.P. Gallery, Nicosia.
2000                 Established “PYGMALION” Sculpture Studio.
2001                 Opened his II Personal exhibition.  PYGMALION Sculpture Studio, Famagusta.
